TITLE: Cell Therapy Landscape in Lithuania: The Success Story Cellular therapies are at the forefront of science, combining sophisticated cell manipulations, tissue engineering and genetic modifications. In the context of over 2000 clinical trials involving cell-based advanced therapeutic medicinal products (ATMPs) in Europe in the last decade, Lithuania has been making progress of its own, both in private and public sectors. There are several approved ATMP therapies on the market, GMP facilities being built, projects written and new products in development. Dendritic cells, cytokine induced killer T-cells, NK cells and, finally, CAR T-cells as well – Lithuanian scientists, technologists and regulatory specialists are at the top of their game.
